The winery was established in 1999 by Pál Rókusfalvy on Etyek's Újhegy (New Hill) in the Etyek-Buda wine region.

The winery has 6 hectares of vineyards: 2½ ha Sauvignon blanc (Orbán slope, Pázmánd slope), 1 ha Pinot noir (Öreghegy slope), ½ ha Olaszrizling (Öreghegy slope), ½ ha Pinot blanc (Újhegy slope), 2/3 ha Pinot gris (Öreghegy slope), 1/3 ha Chardonnay (Orbán slope, Öreghegy slope) and 1/3 ha Zöld veltelini (Öreghegy slope). The vine rows are typically spaced 3m apart with 2m between the vines, using twin vines for areas of 3 ha, and 2m x 1m for areas of 2½ ha.

The winery can be split into three parts, all situated beside each other: the tasting cellar in the wine press-house, a cellar for storing the bottles and a cellar for processing the grapes.
After being de-stemmed and soaked, the grapes are processed in a semi-automatic press.
Once fermented, the wine matures in a traditional manner, using 200 and 500 l oak barrels as well as 1000 and 2500 l refrigerated steel tanks, before being bottled in the spring after a single racking.
The wines may be consumed at the Rókusfalvy Cellar, at the Etyek Vendégfogadó and at some other popular restaurants in Budapest.
